Member’s Resource Manual
 
AgriTrust of Georgia provides a Member’s Resource Manual to each Fund Member.  The Manual provides general information concerning the program and its benefits, and also contains workers’ compensation forms.

 
Safety Resource Manual
 
This manual is provided to every Fund Member and should be used in conjunction with the Safety Self Evaluation Form.  The Manual provides information on how to conduct safety training and provides specific information on many safety topics.  Safety training information is provided on areas such as general safety, health and first aid, facility, personal protective equipment, and machinery and equipment.


Quarterly Conference Calls

AgriTrust members may participate in quarterly conference calls designed especially for Fund Members.  The conference calls cover timely information in the workers’ compensation arena and are designed to help Fund members better manage their workers’ compensation exposure.
 
Premium credit is available when your business participates in at least two calls per year.  If members are unable to dial-in at the specific time of the call, members may listen to a recording of the call and complete an affidavit to verify participation.


Regional Seminars
 
Regional seminars have been a hallmark of AgriTrust service for many years.  Seminars are conducted across the state and afford all AgriTrust members the opportunity to meet their service team from AgriTrust, Georgia Administrative Services, and AgriTrust Legal Council.  Representatives from the State Board of Workers’ Compensation also participate in the seminars on a regular basis.
 
Participation in a regional seminar earns credit for the business which reduces its premium.  Seminars are held in August and registration information is mailed in early July.


Quarterly Safety Initiative
 
The Quarterly Safety Initiative is available to all AgriTrust Fund members. This program encourages Fund members to conduct safety training on a regular basis and then submit documentation to the AgriTrust office. Quarterly winners are selected and the winning business receives a cash prize. The cash prize is doubled if there were no lost time claims during that quarter. 


Cotton Gin Safety Initiative
 
This program provides incentives for all cotton gin members to provide safety training for their workers during the ginning season. The goal of this training is to prevent workplace accidents. AgriTrust provides safety training material and equipment for the member's use.
